Don't let the exterior fool you

As all of the other reviewers mentioned, you pay the price for a luxury property, but give the service of a slum. Response time to maintenance is 2-3 weeks, even for basic requests. The common hallways are extremely deteriotated, in need of new carpet and repaired stairwells. You pay a $25 fee for use of "picnic areas" but the grills are so rusted, I'm afraid to touch them with my hands. Staff seems to be clueless about what is going on. They told me they were putting in a pool to be ready in July, but as of July they have not even broken grounds. Apparently, they scrapped those plans. As another reviewer mentioned, they love to place blame of problems on the tenant, and then try to charge for the repairs.
We can't wait to buy our own home, because at least if we have problems, we can fix them ourselves!
