But what they don't tell you is...

I have lived here for 2 years and have realized one thing about the United Dominion Company. Every major repair goes out to the lowest bidder.
The trash company only has a couple of dumpsters which overflow with trash each week and create a disgusting mess (I'm sure that's a Health Department violation).
The front door buzzer system only sometimes works. The original system was broken when we moved-in and after 6 months it was replaced. The new system is high tech, but it still only works sometimes. And you have to notify the leasing office each time to get it re-programmed.
The pest removal company comes at their leisure and never comes back to follow-up on the problems. You have to constantly call the office to check up. And only when you hear critters scurring in the walls do you realize that you should call the office and request the pest removal company to come back and finish the job.
The swimming pool will never happen. Don't let the office fool you. The Columbia Association has a monopoly on pools in Columbia and it's just not going to happen.
Overall, it looks nice on the outside, but the problems lie under the surface.
Renter Beware!
