I've been here about a year and a half and I'm finally getting the smell of cigarette smoke from the chain smoking woman who lived here before, out of my closet. No joke - my clothes have smelled like smoke since I've moved in. Yet they make pet owners shampoo the carpets when they move out!

And maintenence is a JOKE! They had to come out 4 times to fix the light in my kitchen and it still turns itself off randomly. My front door doesn't latch all the time unless I really pull on it, same with the door to the balcony And I'm not sure what was meant when they came thru and "re-enforced" the ceilings. All they did was put more screws in it and get plaster all over my apartment - but apparently some collapsed. The trim in my "newly remodeled" apartment was never painted and the linoleum was stained when I moved in. The trim under the kitchen cabinets keeps falling off.

The appliances arent so great either. The dryer takes at least 2 cycles to dry your clothes and the freezer makes great blocks of ice rather than ice cubes.

Hope that you don't wind up in a building with management or maintenance living in it. We had one of the management team living in our building and her dogs barked all hours of the night, lunged at the window at you and even came thru the screen at one of the neighbors as she walked her dog. Not to mention just how loud they were in general. Now there is a maintenence guy living in the building who is really noisy - yet no one in management seems to care when we make complaints. Since they moved in three months ago, all I've heard all night is loud music and a baby screaming, which makes my dog pace and whine. I've come home twice to smoke filled apartment because they are using the grill on their patio. I've had to leave for a few hours until it cleared out. I can't even sit on my porch or have my screen door open because they are out there smoking or using the grill and it all gets into my apartment.

Parking is OK if you are in the big main parking lot. There have been some break-ins behind the buildings. The rails on the stairwells have been broken almost the entire time I've lived here. And in the morning the hallway lights are times so very often its dark and when I leave for work the halls are so dark I've tripped on the stairs a few times.

I wasn't going to renew here - I wanted to move closer to work - but I came home one friday night to my lease stuck on my door with a note that said sign and return by monday or the rent goes to month to month and up $500 or you have to move out. Well that didn't give me much of a choice at the time.

I will definitly not be renewing again. And I've told people DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!
