That's what the Howard Co. Police told me AFTER my apartment was broken into! They also advised me not to go out at night by myself, never to approach anyone, and to NEVER walk on the footpaths that are behind my apartment- DAY OR NIGHT!!!
I've written to ----------------------- on Tuesday and was told that they would call me the following day to discuss my concerns with their LACK of security. Its now Friday and I still haven't heard back from them. The screen that was broken into still has not been replaced, and there is still another screen that looks as if it has been tampered with. (its been a week since the break in) And then to top it off, I found out that the building next to mine was broken into 2 weeks before mine. No one was notifed or even given a heads up. We hear about tips for Huricanes but not for robberies????
I used to love where I lived, the apartment is spacious, but whats the point in continuing to live there if you're afraid for your life or your possessions being stolen????
