I have been looking for apartments in Howard County and decided to check this place out. Driving up to the office: A group of teenagers (15-19yrs)stared me down. There were groups of adults scattered around at 3:30 on a Tuesday. Trash was in the parking lots and in front of the buildings. Walking up to the leasing office was fun. More teenagers hanging around the entrance staring me down. Now, I'm a big guy (6'1", 235), but I just thought of my property more than my safety. The lobby smelled like urine and I could hear music blaring from the first floor apartments. I walked into the office and saw 3 kids being talked to by one man. I realized as I was waiting that he was an undercover police officer. From what I gathered, he was talking to them about vandalizing area apartments and cars. The leasing agent was rude and didn't seem like she cared whether I got the information I needed. I walked out shaking my head and threw the brochure away. Please, if you are looking for a cheap place and see this one, make sure you check it out completely!
