I have been in Grand Pointe for one year (yes - like fools we renewed our lease). In the beginning - we thought not too bad - we relocated from New York - and in NYC we lived in a two family house - so we were not from the ghetto.
Living in Grand Pointe in Columbia, MD is about as close to a Maryland ghetto as I want to get - the bed bug infestation in off the wall - in all my years in NYC (and I am talking about 30 years) I have never experienced this type of thing. Now they have rented an apartment to a bunch of young people (20 somethings or less)- the age is not so much the problem as is the smoking in hallways - loud noise - hanging out on the steps - and marijuana smoke sifting from the terrace
This place is uninhabitable - do not move here.

Just wondering as I'm crusing for a new place around Columbia - did you live in the big building or one of the "garden" apartments, or did it not matter :/?
