Definitely Impressed From: the_scarecrow3 Date posted: 8/21/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   Let me preface this review by saying that we have not moved into our new apartment yet. We're getting married next month, and our official move-in date is 9/13/08. That being said, I'll tell you why I chose Kendall Ridge. First, the leasing staff is great. Well, I've only dealt with Miah, but she's great. She's friendly, informative, and responsive. The grounds are beautiful. I'm 26 and have lived in Columbia all of my life, so there's a certain level of aesthetic standards that I expect. Kendall Ridge meets and exceeds all of my expectations. The complex is in the midst of a renovation, and we are blessed enough to be moving into a newly renovated unit. And when I say NEWLY, I mean it. The renovation is currently taking place. My fiancee and I go over there every couple of days to see the progress. We're excited to be the first residents with all of the new appliances and such. If that wasn't enough, we got a GREAT deal. When we first looked at the complex in July, they were running a special that would deduct $200 a month off the rent if you moved in by the end of the month. So, units that normally cost $1000 a month were $800 a month for the entire duration of the 1-year lease. That's a savings of $2400 that year! We wanted to take advantage of that and just sign the lease even though we weren't planning on moving in until after week got married just to take advantage of the offer. Unfortunately, they didn't have any units available for us. This is where the customer service comes in. Even though the special was due to end at the end of July, the property manager extended the offer to us at a discount of $150 a month, if we signed the commitment and placed a deposit on the unit coming available in early September. So, that being said, we've got a 1 bedroom for $965 in a great neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for more. That experience alone is enough for me to recommend this complex to potential residents.
