When I came to the complex to look at it, the complex seemed nice and quiet. My mistake was, I came during the day time when everyone was at work. The place is horrible in the evenings. People walking in the parking lots yelling. The dumpster ALWAYS has trash outside of it (old couches and mattresses) and it seems to stay like that for a month until a truck comes to haul it all away and then it starts again. You can see that for yourself if you drive by there. It is not a safe place to live at. Cars get broken into. You can check that for yourself. Go to the local police and ask about theft reports filed for that complex.
Maintenance is REALLY bad. If it is not an emergency, they won't dream of coming out there.
It's took expensive for the quality of living.
I'm very disappointed.

I thought i'd come back to comment after reading previous reviews this sounds suspiciously like the "new management sucks" person...I guess if it is all I can say is I will say a prayer that God blesses you to find a new place. Btw, my perspective on a beautiful community may be different since I work in DC where things aren't so clean, but I got home early today and the dumpster area is clean...drive by to see for yourself. I take pride in where I live and feel this review does not represent the place I have called home for 3 years.

I have to add, it seems odd that you responded a few minutes after my initial post. It's as if you get notified as soon as someone posts a rating. I wonder if you are one of the staff that work there, sitting in front of the computer, monitoring posts. This webpage is created to allow people to honestly post their opinion about the quality of the apartment. This, in turn, will help others to make a decision when looking for a place to live. Honesty is important in my opinion and not deception.

This is a gross misrepresentaion of the community. I've lived her since September, and what they're saying isn't true. The area IS safe. We live on the ground floor and never hear people yelling or shouting. Also, we frequently take long walks in the evening and have never had an issue with safety and whatnot. Granted, this place isn't PERFECT, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a place that is. I've had to make several maintenance requests for minor things, and they usually respond within a day. It seems like this person has a axe to grind. And, to comment on their last post, ever since I was interested in this community (before I moved here) I signed up to get e-mails when someone reviewed the complex. The sad thing is that this site can only be but so helpful since it's usually the people with problems who post things.

Kendall Ridge is a horrible place to live at. Before the new management took over it was alright, but afterwards the place became a dump. This person is correct about their statements about this property, however I feel that they were being a bit to nice about the true identity about KR. I lived there for more than 1-year but multiple years. But in my last two years after the new management came in, KR was my worst experience as a place to live and trying to deal with management was a nightmare. You probably can find a better place to live in DC or Baltimore with skilled, professional, and carrying management. The staff is young, immature, irresponsible, inexperience, and with no good morals or ethics. Save yourself the time and money and DON'T move there, you'll regret it.
