Kings Crossing

Well We have lived here nearly 11 months. It defiantly isn't a place I would want to live for my entire life but for now we are happy! We moved in, in a rush. Our prior apartment (on the other side of Columbia) had been broken into and I didn't feel safe living there anymore. Jeff was able to get us into this apartment in less than 4 days!!!

The community: very friendly, very safe feeling. If you get one of the apartments that faces Guilford, the road traffic can be loud. But all of the others are very quite and serene. We know almost everyone in our building, and everyone looks out for each other. I will say that the car-ports are a good idea even if just to keep the sap off your car from the MANY trees.

The Apartments: I am guessing that since we have moved in, some have been renovated. However the apartment we moved into is not one. We have had to have some of the appliances replaced and at times it seems like pulling teeth to get the management staff to agree to that, but it gets done. For the most part they are nice apartments. I love the fire place. And the balconies are good sized with storage as well. The turnover crew is lacking, so plan to spend a few hours cleaning prior to moving stuff in. I also wish they had replaced our carpet, but considering how fast our move was I'm not gonna complain to much.

The Staff: For the most part they are great. They are friendly and work to help you with your problems. I will say that I am slightly dissapointed in the fact that on a couple of occasions we have asked for something and whoever was in the office said they would make it happen, or said they would let us know, and it gets forgotten... (we are still waiting on our accent wall)

I would totally tell you to come here and live. We have already gotten 2 couples that we are friends with to move in!
