This place is a dump

I hate it here. I have not had hot water since I moved in here almost 6 months ago. The manager of maintenance has been out and told me nothing can be done about it. Also, DO NOT let the management office sign for your packages. I did and stuff of mine got stolen. UPS even has someone from the office's signature on record but they are insisting they never got it. I agree with the other review...the office staff was so nice to me until I signed the lease. Now they treat me like dirt. It is so noisy here too, the floors creak so much, you can hear everything through the floor and walls. If I had the money to lose, I'd break my lease. What a total dump and waste of money this place is.

Just an update, I did end up paying the break lease fee and leaving. It never got better, only worse. Becky was the one who signed for my package that has $140 stuff in it and magically 'disappeared'. The office never did a thing about it. She bullied me and treated me like crap. I never had enough hot water to take a shower, it was so noisy, trash was everywhere, etc. I moved out at the end of last year (2008) so not sure if it's getting better but I doubt it. Take my advice and don't live here. There are so many choices in that area, there isn't any reason to give this place your business.

Why would you let the rental office sign for your packages? Why wouldn't they go directly to your apartment? I have never heard of anyone doing that before. It can't be up to management to sign for your packages...

One of the features of living at King's Crossing that was advertised was 'package service'. This is actually common in a lot of the apartment complexes that I've lived in. They would not leave the packages at my apartment there, not sure why (maybe they felt it wasn't safe). In any case, it's not something I requested on my own, it's just something they do. The place I live in now has the same service.
