" Welcome Home ". That's what it says on the mat at the front door and that's the feeling I get every time I pull into the driveway of this wonderfull apartment building nestled at the end of a very quiet cul de sac here in the Clary's Forest area of Columbia. I fell in love with the place the moment I first visited and after 9 months of living here that feeling has not diminished one bit. If anything, I like it even more now.
The residents of this building are absolutely wonderfull neighbors. A nice mix of hard working professionals of all ages and professionals that have worked hard and are now enjoying their retirement. All of them together make for an atmosphere that is more like a club setting rather than a typical apartment complex where one only gets to know a few of their neighbors.
The building is very quiet and secure to live in. It is always kept in immaculate condition, inside and out, by a very hard working,competent and friendly maintenance staff. I have not had to use them yet, but I hear that they will address any problem within 1 working day.
All this could not be possible if it wasn't for the management staff. They are one of the biggest reasons I chose to live here. Their commitment to exceed their residents' expectations was apparent to me from my initial contact with them. They are not there to just collect the rent. They take the time to truly care for their residents and talking with them is like talking with a family member. They, and Southern Management, should be commended, because it is their friendliness and professionalism that makes Club Merion is what it is. A place that says," welcome home ".
If you like "High Rise" (it's only seven stories) living then I highly recommend living here.

Its cheesy crap like this that makes me believe these are all fabricated.
