Huge loss

Ok, I just left the rental office to drop off my rent and found out that the manager has quit. This is truly a huge loss for Poplar Glen and I feel I need to voice my feelings. I have been a resident for a little over 2 years. This place was a disaster when I moved in. The former manager was totally clueless and the chaos in the office was taken from a 3 stooge film. The manager that just left brought order to the complex and upheld the respect for residents (who by the way are the reason the staff receives a paycheck). This manager would make calls to me after hours if something needed to be taken care of. She also followed up on any issues. She would always come out of her office to say hello or to help with a package or any other issue. She would offer doggie treats to the dogs or a candy or balloon to a child. Before we never had our building cleaned, but now we have service every week and the carpets get cleaned as well. Residents who do not abide by the rules are soon sent a letter or evicted. Once when my rent check was lost the manager took the responsibility, even though it was not her that lost my check. She was always available, not hiding behind a closed door. I really felt she cared. This is a huge-huge loss. I found out she left the company. Why is it that the good ones are always driven out. I certainly hope she was compensated for all her work. Linda, if you see this there will never be another manager as great as you!
