I guess this is a mixed review, but I wanted to publicize how well I was treated by Katrena, the leasing agent, and Anne, the property manager.

Katrena showed us the 2-bed model tho we were looking for a 1-bed, and based on her comments I understood that the floorplans would be very similar, most importantly the kitchen which is BEAUTIFUL in the 2-bed model.

well, this was my fault for not checking the floorplan on the website, but I went through the whole leasing process over the course of the next two weeks on travel...finally got home, came by to sign and get my keys, and then went into my apartment for the first time (right AFTER signing, which of course was my mistake not theirs).

the kitchen was a galley, not the L with a breakfast nook that we had seen, and overall the quality was much lower than the model, though still fine.

not what I was hoping for.

so I called Katrena and discussed the situation, unfortunately concluding that we weren't going to be able to live there since I couldn't afford the 2-bed.

she and Anne were very courteous (it would be hard for them to be completely understanding, but they did their best), and did their best, finally releasing me from the lease and refunding my security deposit.

they were professional, helpful, and cheerful about the whole situation the entire time.
not a perfect experience, but one that left me with a lot of respect for the staff, for making things right and being great about doing so.
