Apartments are drafty so expect a high electricity bill. My electricity bill doubled when compared to my previous two bedroom unit which was nearly twice the size. Units are Tamar Meadow are nicely appointed but small.
Fee for pets is excessively high - $200 deposit plus $75.00 per month (for a cat''') Comparable communities in the area ask $20 - $25 per month as pet fees.
Tamar Meadow also charges monthly for water. Who does that' By the way, that fee can be a little high because these units do have water leaks. Just this week I had to repair the sealant around the toilet because it was poorly caulked.
An apartment in the complex had a break-in approximately two-three weeks ago and the Property Manager sends out a flyer to the residents to report any lights out on the property. Well I have called to report the entry light to my door as being out on three different occasions, twice before the break-in and once after. Three months later, it's still out. Would replace it myself as I have most other service problems that I have in this place, but it is some sort of industrial light bulb, not easy to replace.
Also, as mentioned in another rating, don't be late with rent or even worse hope the management staff does not misplace your check. They will start eviction proceedings in the twinkling of an eye. PM is on some power trip. Like this is some special place. Just across the street a child was shot in the head while in its living room. Can you say Ghetto boys and girls'

I hear your complaints about the complex, about the high cost of pet fees and the high cost of your electric bill due to drafty apts. one question is why haven't you moved out yet from the high priced Ghetto as you put it?
