Went for a tour today. The person in the office was nice and knowledgable, and seemed to have an enthusiasm for what her community offers.
It sounds like there are tons of upgrades fairly recently done, including new kitchens, washer/dryers, and lighting. The price wasn't too high and the exteriors looked fabulous. In fact, I thought it was a condo community rather than a rental at first. The location is close to everything, yet there's trees and shady everywhere, which is very nice in summer and nice for a treehugger like me.
One thing: I'm a bit worried about these reviews that talk about bugs/mice. Is this true' I hope people aren't just making this up b/c they have other beefs. These reviews are only helpful to others if they are truthful. Anyone know more about these claims' Please help me out--even though this place looks fabuluous, we won't move here if these claims are true!

Terrible ants in my kitchen in the summer, but that is the case most places in the area. Other than that, I didn't see any bugs. Definitely nothing out of the ordinary.

I agree with the previous response. I have ants in the kitchen during the summer months. I have never experienced the ants during the winter months. Also, I live on a bottom unit and I have never seen a bug or roaches or a mice in my unit. Either the negative posting you are reading, keep an unclean house and attract unwanted guests or they definitely have a personal beef with the staff. Alot of times people will try and turn someone away that they think will be happier than they were. Judge for yourself. The units are very clean. You have to take into consideration everyone does not keep their home in the same condition. Yes, if you keep a dirty house, of course you will attract bugs, roaches and mice.

I too have ants in the kitchen.Though I made a complaint, the management has done nothing ..the staff was good initially but now, none of the complaints r taken care of. There were 3-4 break-ins in this year. The management has not even repaired the lights outside the apartment, leave alone any other safety measures. But there is 1 area where the management is prompt at its work..that is collecting the rent.It charges heavy fines for late rent. The play area is in such a lonely place that no parent take their kids there. the apt walls r paper thin.u can hear people above u walking...Inspite of this if u wanna move here...all I can say is "ALL THE BEST"...
