Will put you in the poor house with made-up fee's and fines

Moving to Tamar Meadow was the worst decision I have ever made. The entire time I lived there I was constantly paying out-of-the-blue fees and fines for the most ridiculous things such as "throwing a pillow away in the dumpster". I recently got laid off from my job and when I notified Nikki, the property manager, she immediately filed a court date to evict me. She evicted me for March's rent (even though I told her I had been laid off and would get the rent to her as soon as physically possible) on March 20th. How do you get evicted for the current Month's rent' On top of that, I am being charged INSANE fee's and basically being robbed of money that I don't have with no income. I even found someone to sublease and take over my apartment and they decided at the last minute, after they had already told me I could, that I was no longer allowed to sublease and that I would be fined a one month's rent fee for them having to lease the apartment themselves. I believe the total they are currently asking from me is over $5,000 which includes a bill of $2,500 for a door replacement since the crime in the neighborhood is out of control and someone tried to break into my apartment while I was out of town for the weekend. Somehow that is my fault so I have a bill for $2,500 for a new door. My female neighbor and another female a few buildings down from me were both robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot as well. In a nut shell, if you plan on having your credit ruined, robbed at gun point, vandalized, and taken to the poor house, I would not recommend living here. They have absolutely no sympathy what-so-ever for people being laid off in this economy, they actually plan to take advantage of that situation and hit you with all the fee's and fine's they can dream up. The only ONE positive thing I can say about this community is that the maintenance man Dave was the GREATEST but he too has gotten sick of the leasing staff here and moved to a different community so you unfortunately will not get the chance to meet him. You will also NEVER find parking and will end up walking across the community in the dark at night to get home. Do NOT live here, you WILL be sorry.
