To classify Hannibal Grove Appartments as Ghetto is very unfair. This is actually a compliment. DAMN! This development is absolutely ridiculous, and well below stardards if you ARE NOT receiving (subsidized housing) a.k.a. Section 8. From the clueless neighbors who honk their horns at 5 in the morning, to grown men running up and down the stairs, I feel like I am living in an orphanage.

I am not racist and recognize that different ethnic backgrounds are looking to establish themselves in this country, but PLEASE, learn how to speak english so that I can tell you personally to clean up your act. Leave the cockroaches at home, and throw your beer bottles in the trash.

It has turned so bad here that I am forced to take my clothes to the cleaners. Nothing on this development works properly, and worse, I am embarrassed to have friends over because there is trash everywhere and our steps are riddled with stains and drippings. The grounds here are very unkept, and roaches continuously have cookouts in my kitchen.

As I type on this review, I can hear the sparks from bad wiring popping in my ear. I hope that when I return from my afternoon, this apartment is not on fire!

I have read some of my neighbors reviews and really don't need to list all of the numerous problems as they have already been mentioned. I knew it would be a rocky road when my car windows were busted out, and my CD's were stolen shortly after I moved here in 2003.

I will say "renters' beware". In this case bigger (referring to the size of the apartment)is not better just because the rent is cheaper. Just remember the old cliche "you get what you pay for"

In closing, If you are looking for a place to rent, I suggest that you simply pass this development. Don't be fooled by the signs in the grass or the pretty balloons. You are better off living in a homeless shelter, on the streets, or in Mom's basement.

This development recieves an "F" for failing, funky, _ucked up, and anything else you can thing of that is negative, and starts with an "f"
