I feel like I'm being ripped off just because its in Columbia. The townhouse I live in is nice, it's just the fact that I'm paying so much and I know people around me are on section 8 and are paying not even half as much as I am. The property has gotten a little better, they still need to fix up a few of the buildings that are hidden from outsiders. I personally have not had a problem, but some of the people in the neighbor hood are trying to make this ghetto. Come on this is Columbia Howard County they are trying too hard to make this place something that it's not. Ghetto is people shooting and getting shot, selling drugs on the corner in the opening. None of that is going on around here. There might be drug selling , but that could be anywhere. These wanna be thugs are no threat, it's just they are so ignorant in the way they carry on, it,s just so annoying you just don't want to see it. If you can deal with them its ok if not you might look for somewhere to move like I'm doing now.
