I have been a current resident for almost 2 years.
For this complex to be in Columbia I am shocked at Dorsey's problem's with roaches.
Their problem is allowing people leaving in 1 bedroom apartments with 3-4 others in the same unit.
When I approach the entrance for my apartment unit, the area stinks and smells.
You have to literally hold your breathe until you enter your place.
Maintance is good...but you shouldn't have to depend on the "maintance" manager to take care of everyone's unit every single time.
The maintance team is short in workers and do not stay on top of their ticket-request like the manager.
The noise level is RIDICULOUS.
The walls are very thin.
The parking is CRAZY.
The lines are not dark enough to seperate each car, so cars can be parked diagnal or too close to your own vehicle.
Since the parking lot is so cramped, some cars will park in the "no parking" section (which is made for the dumpster truck to pick up the trash) and when the dumpster is blocked...the truck will keep going.
I HAVE SEEN THE DUMPSTER SIT FULL FOR ALMOST 2 before being collected.
I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY LEASE, which expires soon because it's not worth it at all.
Whatever you do...please by-pass Dorsey's Forge Apartments for your own good.
