Worst Place I've ever lived. Just because the Rent is cheap, you will pay one way or another. I've been living here for about a year now and I've had nothing but problem after problem after problem. The halls stink. The walls are thin. There are bugs everywhere. Silver fish and roach city. The leasing office staff is use-less. They all claim they don't know anything about anything and they are right. They've lost my lease at least 3 times and I've had to resign over and over again. If you are more then 2days late on the rent then they take you to court. Even if it's a holiday weekend and they weren't open. They removed all the dumpsters and put in one trash compactor for the entire neighborhood. It's in the corner and most people have to drive there trash or walk around 4 buildings to get to it. Scater kids hang out in the parking lot because there is no park near by for them to play at. Cars get beat up from them playing in the street and they don't move for cars driving by. Don't let there ad fool you about the pool either. The pool isn't for the apartment renters, it's for the homeowners on the other side of the street and you have to pay extra for membership. When it snows they only plow the streets. The parking spots are left alone and very icy. Talking about parking spots....since you don't have asigned parking, if you come home past 8pm good luck finding a spot. Most households have more then 2 drivers and the spaces fill up fast. One of the people in my building have 5 cars in the parking lot. The worst part about this place is the laundry rooms. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers and usually only one works at a time. Also it costs $3.50 per load and the dryers never dry your clothes completely. The room also fills with condinsation leaving puddles on the floor. If you drop a sock, forget it, you might as well wash it again. OH and did I mention you have to have a card that you put money on to use the washer and dryer. The machine that puts the money on the card only accepts $5, $10, and $20's. If it's last minute and you only have $1's and change. Guess who's washing there clothes by hand''' No point in complaining, nother every gets done. My heater has been broken since October and the average temp in my apartment is 43degrees. The leasing office has sent people to fix it 4 times but nothing has been fixed. The heater blows cold air only. Also BG&E doesn't charge for your unit only. The entire building is read and they devide it up between everyone. So even if you save energy, your neighbor who has 8 kids isn't. In all, regret moving here all together and I'm glad it's almost over.
