Do not live here if you can afford not to.
This place is OK at best. In the 2 years I was here I had many many new neighbors, each worse than the last. Packing 10 or more immigrants (most likely illegal) from Mexico or Russia is the norm here. Trash in the halls, smoking in the halls, the halls were just plain nasty. There are lots of young kids (elementary age) in the neighborhood and they run around noisily and hang out in the parking lot all day. The parking lot.... oooh. It is way too small for the number of people living there. When I worked evenings or went out at night I would have to park several blocks away on the street because there is never any parking. The lot is full of broken down cars and an overabundance of unused handicapped parking spots. Parking was very frustrating. Maintenance, was actually pretty good. I had no complaints there. The office staff was useless however. Friendly, but useless. I ended up paying for an extra month and losing my security deposit because the office staff has no idea what they are doing. The rooms themselves are not bad for the price, and have tons of storage space. I never ever heard the neighbors either. Not the safest place though. My friend had his car stolen from the parking lot and more than once I have witnessed kids selling drugs on the steps outside the building. Also many people hang out on the steps outside the buildings, very annoying.
