Parking is Bad - They Tow

My boyfriend has lived here for the past 3 years, and I would spend the weekends with him. Normally, I always parked (far away) in the visitors lot. But there were a few times, after shopping when I would park close to our apartment and accidently forget to move my car and the next day my car was gone. It didn't matter whether the lot was full or not. It cost me $300 the first time and $200 the second time to get it out of the storage lot of the towing company. The management pretends that they don't call the towing company but it's obvious they have a contract with this company and the towing people tow residents' family, friends, etc all the time!
It's also extremely noisy. I live on the ground floor and constantly here my neighbor upstairs.
The management is nice and do promptly fix things. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

If you are not supposed to park some where and you park there whether you "accidently" forget to move your car or not you deserve to get towed! Resident parking is for "paying" residents only... plain and simple.

This person is an idiot. I thought you said it was HIS apartment. HE is paying rent. Not you! You are probably one of those stupid people that park in front of the builing and when I get home...TO MY HOME I cant park there because you feel that just b/c you're 'visiting" that you can park anyone. HIS lease probably saids "one car" per apartment. YOU are not a paying resident HE IS.

No, you are the idiot since if you would have read my initial complaint I said that I only parked in front of the building twice to unload, otherwise I always parked in the visitors lot. (During a period of 3 years.) No wonder I hate it there - see the mentality of my neighbors?

Too funny a visitor complaining and not the renter... gotta love it!

I've seen parking complaints from non-residents on the reviews of several apartments I'm looking at. Given the parking situation at my current apartment (no reserved spots, I sometimes have to park on the other end of the complex in the lots that aren't for specific buildings because visitors feel they should have the right to park in front of the building) I find a place with reserved spots a major plus. Can it be a bit of an inconvenience for visitors? Of course, but it can be a great feature for people who live there and don't want to have to walk so far when they get home from work or the grocery store. If the person you visit doesn't tell you about the parking situation, or in your case, you "accidentally" forget that you parked in someone's spot (when you are in a reserved spot that isn't yours, you are in SOMEONE else's spot) it is NOT the fault of the complex that you were towed, and it does not deserve a poor rating as a result. On the contrary, it means they protect their tenants' parking and insure there is adequate parking near the apartments for their paying customers, that is a huge plus.
