There was a response posting to one of the comments named "Professional So Far" that stated some of these comments are false postings by the staff. I believe that WHOLE HEARTEDLY!! I have a neighbor that recently moved in and told me that on the day of her move in, she found out her apartment had been given away by the regional manager(Beverly Mitchell) and she was never notified!!! And since I've been here, Oakcrest has failed to properly train and keep a Leasing staff for more than a year! They are always changing but never for the better!! And there is a young lady in leasing named Angel that has looked drunk on the job on several occasions! People this is no joke! Go see for yourself! Even the Property Managers keep changing. THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNSTABLE! And I know because I have been here for years but will be moving ASAP because things have only gotten worse. Maintenance sucks and the people in the customer service office ALWAYS have an attitude especially that woman named Gail. They also have a collection manager named terri collins that specializes in nasty letters but not basic math skills. It is a rollercoaster ride that I want off of!!

I THINK IT MAY BE TIME FOR CHANGE. IF YOU BEEN @ OAKCREST TOWERS FOR SO LONG TO SEE DIFFERENT MANAGEMENT STAFF...THAT MAY BE A SIGN. LIKE THEY SAY, PEOPLE ARE SCARED OF CHANGE. IF ITS THAT BAD LEAVE! EVEN IF IT CHANGES FOR THE WORST. THEN DON'T BE A PART OF THE ISSUE...BE A PART OF THE PEOPLE WHO BRAKE THE LEASE!.

terry collins does have a very nasty attitude, i dont understand how she made it to where she is, i love oakrest, they just need to take all the little cocroaches we have in our apartments and put them all in her office

I have only been there a short time but my stay has been pretty good. I live in 2031 and its not perfect but I dont have many complaints. I did visit the leasing office a short time ago and did notice some staff changes and was wondering myself what the heck happened to everyone. I notice this with alot of apartment complexes though, they often have staff changes and changes in property management companies.. Luckily I havent had to deal with this Terry Collins person and hope that I never do.

You only have to deal with Terri Collins if you don't pay your rent on time, so what is that to say about yourself. Pay your rent on time and stop saying untrue things about people.

This is definitely one of the workers if not Terri Collins herself. And to the person that posted on 6.15.07 about paying your rent on time...you are hilarious and need to get your facts straight. I had to "deal" with Terri Collins and sweetie it wasn't because my rent was late. It was because maintenence was not doing what they're being paid to do. Any complaint I had I began with the leasing office. When they couldn't do their job efficiently, I took it to Terri Collins. When it was obvious that she could not perform her job functions, I took it above her head and contacted Scott Management in Virginia. After I faxed them a letter with my concerns, miraculously all of my issues were resolved. So to you my dear maybe you should be a bit more informed and less defensive before YOU post statements that are untrue and full of loop holes.
