I've lived in Oakcrest towers for over a year. From day one, I was scammed by the front office. I did not the apartment that I signed up for. There was a game of "I don't know why she did that and this is all we have open right now". Whenever you have and report a maintenance problem, it is really pathetic as to the length of time it takes to get the repair completed. for example: My air conditioning went out in second week in June 07. I called and visited the front office well over five times to get it repaired. It was finally repaired during the second week in July 07. How about being responsive' Anyone is allowed to come in a secured facility! It's second nature to have businesses and people soliciting in the building! How'
As soon as I am able to leave, I will!

Thanks for the opportunity to tell it like it is!

Its a shame because I lived here for 6 mos, I had a short term lease and I had none of the problems that I hear alot of people complain about. Meaning this complex has the ability to operate correctly, they just dont which is a shame. I never had a problem getting maintenance to fix anything they were always there the same day, eveb if it was late at night, they were there in less than an hour. I just dont understand how an apartment complex treats different residents different. And I used to live next door to the maintenance man and thats where alot of them would hang out.. so I see how many they have on staff and its more than enough to answer maintenance calls in a timely fashion. I lived on the opposite side in 2031 and it seems like the experience is better on that side which is ridiculous. I always wanted to live in these apartments but it seems like they have gone downhill. The only reason I moved is because I was having a baby and the 2 bdr here was too expensive. I regret all the time moving now that I am in my new apartment, but then I read these ratings and wonder if I am really missing anything.
