I've been in building 2100 since 2007 and if you're moving here it all depends on the floor you move on and your neighbors. I live on a floor where some of my neighbors smoke marijuana which makes the entire hallway smell of it. I constantly burn scented oil to keep the smell out of my apartment. There are a lot of new tenants who are too damned lazy to throw their trash into the trash bins outside on the 1st floor where they have to go each day to exit the building. They simply put their trash outside of the trash room and wait for the cleaning crew to throw it out. There are a lot of new younger people on this floor and prior to their moving in we didn't have that issue. Our laundry room stays dirty as tenants don't care about how they leave it because they don't have to clean it. Trash is always thrown in the hallways and on the elevators as well. I also believe that we now have a dog on our floor but security hasn't been able to find it. Good luck moving in and as I stated previously it all depends on the building and your neighbors.

After hours security, im not sure of there hours but they do drive around the premises. If you are getting in from work at 4:50 a.m, you will be fine to park inside the secured gate with access card, where no one can enter but the residents.

I finally moved over the weekend and I am happy that I did.. as I recently discovered MICE living in the bottom of my oven . I was in Bldg 2120.. I had reported the problem before and their solution was -- to bring me some glue mouse traps and I had to set them up myself and remove the dead mice myself. As I was moving out, this girl and guy was viewing an apartment down the hall, I so badly wanted to tell them "DON'T DO IT". I mean I expect issues, like pest etc.. I mean, we don't live in this world alone.. but it is up to management to resolve these issues in a timely manner and not a year later. If you have patience to deal with poor customer service ..slow response to maintenance request then move there.. the over all value is good.. but I had to decide what was more important.. the value or me being comfortable and safe in my home and I chose the latter... As for security, oh my, they drive around when there should be security posted inside each bldg, the community is too big for one officer to drive around in his car and check things out...that's just my personal opinion. Just one last bit of advice, anything they tell you GET IN WRITING!!!!! Pay your rent with your debit card and file all your receipts. Because they do not always update their system properly...

Honestly I was looking to move here myself. a Man I met in the paking lot lived there for 7 years and absolutley loved it. He loved location, price and security. I received a tour loved it all too. However the person that gave me a tour stepped on a roach when she stepped out of the elevator. Either she didnt see it or she didnt want me to see it. HOWEVER IN COMPARISON OAKCREST HAS ONE OF THE HIGHEST RATINGS OF AFFORDABLE APPARTMENTS IN THE AREA. Currently at 62% on this site. Every place else is in the low 20s. So im still considering it. BTW all you need is 1 bad neighbor and you will have roaches. no matter where you live.

and continuing my last comment, there were roaches all in that place and the elevators and lobby, oood!! o m g!!! so i didnt move my shiiit in there and sunday i called told them i had a lot of roaches they said monday they would put me on the extermination list, i wasnt waitin for them to exterminate and i wasnt movin or stayin in there so sept 14,2009 i gave them my 45 day notice to break my lease bcuz i wasnt havin that and it wasnt gonna do me anygood to come on this site and complain and badmouth the property, fuuuk that im breakin my lease i don have time for the mice and roaches and lil kids that i saw running up and down the hall way and laying on the lil bench in the lobby what the fuuk?? and the lil punk slapped a band aid on my apt door but guess what i didnt care bcuz i was taking my bags back down stairs to my sis vehicle after i seen those roaches, so sept 11,2009 to sept 14th 2009 i broke my leasethat property is infested with roaches i dont know bout any mice just roaches, and trash here and there in the hallways, young guys puttin shiit in the door to keep them propped open to get in is what i saw bcuz they had the shiit open when i was takin my things upstairs, they tried everything in they power to get me to stay, they even told me i will give you an apt in the pretty bldg, i said nope dont want to stay here, i need my money back!! so these apts are not worth the rent they tryna charge us folks they got tooo many roaches, and they hallways and carpet are dirty in certain bldgs.
