I moved here from Southern Towers in Alexandria, so I have a bit of culture shock. There were all types of people in S.T. and even though it's about five times bigger, the people there were much more friendly. Here, where its all black, people, including employees, are unfriendly and avoid eye contact and speaking at all costs.

When we viewed our unit we submitted a list of things that needed to be worked on before we moved in, at the request of the person handling the rental. Nothing was done 2 weeks later when we moved in.
Since then maintenance has been pretty good with things like the A/C and toilet. We've seen some roaches but no mice yet. They were supposed to spray, but I don't think they did.

Overall, my unit isn't bad, but the hallway carpet is all torn and often smells. People smoke down there and it gets in my apartment. People in this building love to slam doors and they fight like cats & dogs in the wee hours of the night, so I get little sleep here. We had on real cool neighbor but he moved to a house, the lucky -----!

The first two weeks I was here I saw a gun bust, heard numerous fights, and a neighbor played loud music until 5am. During the 4th of July someone set off an M80. Fireworks were going off weeks before hand.

I think I live in the most tame part of the coplex. There are a lot of noisy little kids who play in between the buildings instead of the playground 50 yards away. There's not too much hanging out on this side, thank goodness, however, people over here do not know how to correctly dispose of their garbage.

The laundry room is disgusting. It always smellls like urine and the machines are filthy inside and out. Often I have to call to get them to open it hours after it should be.

I want to get out of here as soon as possible so I wont lose anymore boyfriends! It's cheap but its a dump. It could be worse, true, but overall people here are not happy nor do they have respect for where they live. If they did, many of the biggest problems here wouldn't exist.

i agree completly with your postings. i wsh there was somewthing we could do a s community to bring attention to their lack of professionalism. Rimsi corp are slumlords and we shouldn't have to pay our rent for garbage. i want to showcase the apartments on fox 5 if I get enough people. 3016137991
