I should have suspected something was not quite right. On the day I moved in, a maintenance man was in the apartment repairing the kitchen floor, hanging the verticle blinds and caulking the bathroom. Less than 1 month later, the verticle blinds fell; water began leaking around the bathtub and tile on the kitchen floor began to pop up. One year and several months later, the problems still exist. Along with the apartment falling apart, roaches seem to come out of the walls and mice moved in. One day 6 mice were killed before noon. We found that they came in around the pipes in the kitchen. According to maintenance, that problem was fixed but it was not. All of a sudden staff in the rental office became deaf and didnot respond to any of my concerns. Some older neighbors told me drugs are being sold openly in the parking lot. Needless to say, this is not a suitable place for anyone to live especially if you are trying to raise a child. Disabled cars are parked in the parking lot and running vehicles are being stolen or vandilized. Trash is everywhere. The buildings surrounding the rental office look presentable, but the fact is they are just as bad inside as the others. They should be ashame to raise anyone's rent with these kind of living conditions starring them in the face and I am ashame to call this place home. That is why I have decided to move immediately.
