Do not give them their holding fee a.k.a security deposit. I gave them a deposit on the 2nd and didn't view my apartment until the 20th. I had to wait for the maintenance crew to let me and the leasing agent in. The apartment still needed to be cleaned and so did the carpet. I was told that I could move in while the carpet was still wet. I have asked for my deposit back and have been told NO. I am going through the attorney general's office to retreive it.

Same thing happened to me. When I came to view my apratment and move in nothing was ready. They had to move me in a whole different apartment. They make sure that the person who lived there cleans it well so they do not have to anything. I have seen it. I have seen people move and someone else live there within a week. They do not clean the apartment. They paint over everything and the tub gets repainted as well. My dishwasher did not work and a year after it still doesn't. True SLUMLORDS!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow i wonder how it is going to be for me and my friend to move in because they want us to come in for a walk in around the unit. Man i just hope it goes well!
