I have been here for about a year and a half...goal was for one year (I came in on a special where it was only $815 for a 2 br, all utils. and I got a $500 gift card to WalMart) just until I got into a house. Well, process for the house has taken longer than I expected and I am still here.

The pros: all utils included, parking is okay (I live in the back)
The cons: ROACHES run the place...they have extermination every 2 weeks yet it does NOTHING to help...I am better off with a can of Raid on my own. The kids skipping school from Suitland High School next door are always smoking on the front stoop and hanging out in the laundromat and vacant apartments; call the rental office and they say call police non-emergency which does nothing. My car was broken into a few weeks ago...in BROAD Daylight, while I was home from work and getting ready for a doc appointment. Last straw'' I came downstairs early one morning to find a teenaged boy sleeping in the laundry room; he left when I came in. He left a um..."surprise" in one of the washers...you figure that one out. DISGUSTING!

I am trying hard to get out ASAP because I can not take it anymore! Oh and after the one year special was up...rent was raised by $120!!

They tell you how much your rent will go up when you sign the lease with the special.

I'm ready to move out and I just moved in on 9/13/09. I hate roaches, the exterminator came on 10/19/09 for the second time and I still see roaches. I keep my apartment as clean as possible and this is just crazy that I see them several times a week. So once my lease is up i'm gone because I'm tired already.
