Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion. I lived in Spanish Village for 6 years. And I have experienced both sides of the spectrum, living there as a child and as an adult. Please believe me when I say compared to a lot of communities Spanish Village is great. Yes you have to deal with the nosey old man (By the way his name is Paul). And I can recall my own personal experiences with Ronnie (pervert).
What do you want' Ms Gregg was a horrible manager who acted as if she owned the community. But you should allow Ms. Chase the opportunity to do her job. Learn to take things with a grain of salt. Stop taking it personal. Would you rather the property look like your neighbor Valley Brooke' Which is absolutely horrible. Spanish Village for the most part is well maintained and affordable. Stop complaining and move.

I completely agree with the fact that Ms. Gregg was a horrible manager that acted as if she owned the complex. But, while she was there, she created a group of tenants that act as if they own the property as well. That, to me, is a problem. There is no way any tenant should feel uncomfortable about coming home because of their old, nosey neighbors. There is no way any tenant should come home regretting a call from the property manager because their kids are noisy, especially when they are not allowed to play anywhere in the complex(even in the privacy of their own unit!!!!). The property is ok. It needs some serious renovation and repairs. Safety is not an issue there but, there are alot more ammenities than safety that make a complex a more enjoyable and satisfying place to live. I hope Ms. Chase realizes the little things that are adding up and making Spanish Village an unenjoyable place to reside. I'm happy about the fact that you like it there but, as for me and my household, we are very unhappy. I have lived in other complexes in PG County and they are not all like Valleybrook. I have actually had very good experiences there and never have I felt the way about those other complexes as I do about Spanish Village. (And for the record, I only left those complexes because I expanded my family and we needed more room.)

I have been reading the reviews on this community, and am completely shocked. To view this community from the outside, it appears to be a nice, quiet place to live. To actually read the comments (and EVERYONE cannot be telling the same lie), convinces me to look elsewhere. I certainly do not want to pay exhorbiant rent (anywhere) and do not have privacy in any place I decide to call home. There seems to be several issues going on with management, maintenance, etc., that are serious enough for legal actions to be taken. Residents, stop talking amongst yourselves, and take ACTION!!
