A good place to move while saving money

well I moved into Woodland Spings in March 2006 and I have to say that I like it. I had just moved out of my mother's home with my 1 year old and we have been there since then and next year I will be looking to buy a home. I am not going to say that everything there is perfect but it's definitely better than most. I never have a problem with maintainence. When I call(usually from work) by the time I get home they problem has been solved or they leave me a notice saying they didn't finish for whatever reason but will be back. And they do come back and do a good job. I have never had a problem with roaches or mice. I am in a building where my there are majority single couples and a few elderly. My neighbors below me, above me, and myself are the only ones with children. And the floors are pretty weak. I can hear my neighbor above me walking but I know she isn't being rude, the floors are weak. My street is fairly quiet. The majority of the noise I do hear comes from the aparmtent complex behind me. (I think it's called Berkley Springs) But even that has settled down.
The staff is nice. I don't liek the fact that they change the way they do. It hink that's in poor taste for any business. But the people I have dealt with that are there are very nice. I have seen them have altercations with other residents but the residents have actually been right either. I think your approach says a lot about people dela with you. And that could be why when I call they come soon.
The only problem I do have is that parking is bad. You have to parallel park and the spaces are all different sizes. So you have some spaces you can't even park in because someone has parked over the line (not purposely) but some of them are so small you are forced to do so. And I have an Accord (pretty average car). My door works fine my intercom works fine. I don't have a problem with noisy neighbors. People lingering in the hall or trash. Overall I am ready to move into house simply because I think it's time and I am tired of renting. But for this to have been my first apartment, I am pleasently surpised. Because I didn't have the horror stories some people have had.
