I have a friend that just moved over there in October.. She likes it.. She also states that she can here a lot of what the people below her and above her are doing. but she said you can only really notice it if you are listening to hard :)She did say the parking was horrible and that the rental office staff was ghetto fab! I'm just looking for something clean and I can't deal with a rack of kids hanging around. Some of you have said to move cloe to the rental office, others said in the front.. What are some of the good things about the apartments' I mean I'm not in a rush to move, but I feel like it is time for me to get out of my mothers house. I have lived on my own before, but this time I'm not trying to pay to much and I'm not trying to be here forever. I want to give myself 2 years.
Also I see some of you talk about crime and things of that nature.. I currently live in Mitchellville, Md. People think because of where I live it's nothing going on in these big houses.. Belive me, we got the same thigns going on around here I'm sure.

Well I've lived in Woodland Springs for almost 2years now, and I really don't have any problems. I don't have any roaches, mice or anything like that. I'm on the ground floor and occassionally in the summer I'll get one or two crickets but that's it as far as bugs go. Now, the walls are VERY thin and you hear what your neighbors are doing without listening hard.
I live towards the back of the complex & I've never had trouble w/vandalism or theft.(now on the other hand I used to live in Oakcrest Towers and that's where you can expect some vandalism). Some people in the management office are as ghetto as ghetto comes. I don't know if they received too many complaints, but they've gotten alot better.
The only problem I have with the apartments is in the winter time it gets pretty cold, so be prepared to cover your windows, put a stopper at your front door, get some flannel sheets and pray that your PEPCO bill doesn't get too high.
If others have had trouble with the complex I have to say it all depends on where you are and your neighbors, because I love my apartment.
