Now I have heard all the reveiws and responses from this complex. overall, they have been good ones. After doing research, on apts in the area, i have not been satisfied yet. but woodland springs caught my eye, riding past and it seems like a nice well kept apt complex. the rent sounds about what we want 2 pay and i heard nothing about roaches or mice like other apts in the area. i can deal with the kids, and all that but roaches and mice, I CANNOT. so this will be my and my boyfriend's 1st apt and i want 2 live comfortably is it still as good or bad in 2008, as it was in 2004, 2005 etc. please let me know somebody. thanks.

In response to your concern I would like to say that it is a nice place. I was from out of town when I moved here. Every other apartment community is expensive and some that are expensive have those rat and roach issues. In my building I dont have that problem. At first the first 2 months I did have a big water bug or roach issue, but some Borax in the cabinets and windows cleared that right up. I clean and clean to make sure nothing stays alive in my apartment, IF they decide to come in. In my building we all get along and speak every now and again. I hope you get the same IF you decided to move in. The reason why this complex was bad BEFORE was due to poor management. Move in now, they are wonderful. They are a bit nosey with the income thing, but hey what can you expect from a community that is under a maximum requirement. Lastly, if you move in with a positive attitude and don't worry about what you hear in the apartment you'll be fine (thin walls).

This apartment complex is okay.. I would recommend that if you do move here that you move in the back.. Just remember that you are moving to District Heights so do expect some things..Also, be aware of the cost of electric. Everything in your apartment will run off of electric, hot water and heat included. I had an extremely high electric bill in the winter months. It was discovered that I had a leak in my heat pump so that could have been the cause. The property manager Ms. Britt is wonderful with responding to your issues, u just have to make sure u get them to her directly. My stay has been ok but I prefer my previous apartment with all utilities included. DO NOT MOVE IN THE FRONT OF THE COMPLEX..make sure u see YOUR apartment before you move in... My apartment was nice and clean when I moved in dont get me wrong, however, it was not the size I thought that it would be. However, I have heard that there are some very spacious apartments in the complex you just have to pay a little more. The leasing staff is pretty good to Mrs. Wallace is the best!! Needless to say dont expect perfection but its okay for a first apartment. Definitely no roaches or mice cause I definitely couldnt tolerate that. And one more thing...MOVE TO THE TOP FLOOR IF U DONT MIND...the floors are really weak...

it is a nice place but it all depends on where you are located atwood st is off the hook in the summer as well as by the baskeball court. i mean i was there for 3 years me and my son but i left because i wanted something bigger and better, just make sure you have an alarm on your car or atleast a club becasue they will try, as far as the bugs and mice they are wonderful with that i never seen one just spiders thats about it.. wish you the best

i have been living here for almost two years now, and i have witnessed a murder right outside of my unit also alot of kids just hanging out but no mice or roaches. waterbugs and spiders yeah, i have not seen any other unit but mine is beautiful the best apt. i have have in this pg county area, i moved in the winter months and i said wow by 8pm u can hear a pen drop outside not realizing that the the cold was keeping the horror inside, rental staff has always been professional it is a child friendly community always flyers for you and family to participate in community activities in my bldg folks seem to mind thier business so for this area this tops the list but the murders are freaking me out i can bearly sleep at night,
