renting from this community would be a bad decision unless you're used to and WANT TO live in somewhere equivalent to the projects.

NOISY NOISY NOISY! if you enjoy sleeping in on the weekends, or enjoying an after-work nap, this is not the place for you. the people here have no respect for anyone. the start partying at 11 pm every night and don't end until 5 a.m., even if the cops are called. the vaccume at 10 O'CLOCK AT NIGHT OR LATER. they sit in their cars and play their radios during all hours of the day. their dogs bark NON STOP from 7a.m. until around 5 or 6 o'clock.

LEASING OFFICE AND PERSONAL ARE A HUGE JOKE. the leasing office is NEVER open when you need it to be. anyone who works a 9-5 job, and needs to do laundry, is out of luck. they give you cards you have to scan and add money onto (only $10 bills and larger might i add) and this can ONLY BE DONE IN THE LEASING OFFICE, instead of coins or another form of payment..so if you can't make it to the leasing office within their hours, you're out of luck and have to wait until the weekend (if that's even possible) to do laundry on site. and don't even try going during you're lunch break bc sometime during the afternoon, they decide to leave for 2 hours.

NOT A PLACE FOR KIDS. at ALL HOURS OF THE DAY, loud conversations can be heard by the hoodlums sitting on the front entrance steps to each complex. i've heard everything from probation officer stories, to LOUDLY talking about shooting people, along with every other word being a curse word. (also, if you continue reading, there are other things i'm sure any parent would not like their child around.)

DRUG DEALERS. there is a so-called 'drug ring' in one of the complexes (off trappe road). a friend of mine from out of state was visiting and pulled into the wrong entrance, and then was pulled over by the police bc that street was well known for DRUG TRAFFICING. my friend was NOT buying drugs, it scared her to death when she was pulled over, and then to hear it's bc people are dealing drugs in my neighborhood.

MAINTENENCE TAKES FOREVER AND HAS NO RESPECT FOR RENTERS PROPERTY. the laundry room next to my apartment flooded while i was at work, which in return flooded my entire living room, and when maintenence decided to LET THEMSELVES IN while i was gone for the day, it looked like they literally THREW MY STUFF ACROSS MY LIVING ROOM..2 of the shelves on my tv stand were broken, the back of my computer desk was cracked, my computer cords were ripped out of the back of my tower, and everything was just tossed around. they refused to pay for it and claimed they didn't to the damage WHEN THEY CLEARLY DID. not to mention i was without a tv, a computer to work from home on, and any sort of comforts IN MY OWN HOME. it stayed lk that for atleast 4/5 days while they took their good ol' time cutting up the padding and CLEANING (NOT EVEN REPLACING) my living room carpet. my closet door has not closed since the day i moved in, i was TOLD it would be fixed within a week..i've been here about 6 months and no one has done a thing to it..besides take it off the hinges and throw it on my couch when my apartment was flooded. such rude individuals.

NOISY, LOUD NEIGHBORS WITH EQUALLY NOISY, LITTLE DOGS. every apartment in my complex has a dog..these people do not care..they just open the front door and let the dog wander around. not something you would want kids around, or even yourself considering these dogs will bark, jump, and even try to bite you.

PARKING SUCKS. there are suppossed to be 2 guarenteed parking spots for every renter..THAT IS NOT THE SITUATION. you will be forced to park on the street, where your car is out of site and a mile away from your apartment.

BEWARE! the leasing office will show you a remodeled apartment, making it seem like that is what you are signing up for, not tell you otherwise..and stick you with an apartment straight out of the 70's.

also, i might add that i live in one of the BETTER buildings that doesn't include roaches or drug rings. if it didn't cost the rest of my years lease upfront to move out, i would be out in a heart beat. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. NOT WORTH IT. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE AND MAKES SURE YOU DO A DRIVE AROUND THE NIEGHBORHOOD DAY AND NIGHT BEFORE MAKING A CHOICE. this is not a pleasent neighborhood to live in whatsoever, you'd be wasting a ton of money.

Kennilworth @ Perring is becoming about as bad since Continental took over and if you have kids that are not black, they will be assaulted,harassed, and discriminated against, as will you. Racism thrives here now. It costs hundreds more to live here especially since you have to do your own maintenance,pest control, while rent jumps $70 ea yr with the waterbill of $20 per person per month.2- 70's BDRM $900 and rising,drug dealers incl.. The management says call the cops, the cops say call the management.Bravo Balto. Co. for refusing to help tennants in Balto. Co. I was considering Charlesmont to save money to live off of, but...it ain't any better. And only "certain people" get section 8 here. Disabled beware.
