I've lived at Three Garden Village for about two years. There are things I like about living here. For instance, the rent is very inexpensive. The utilities are included in the rent so you have no control over your apartment's temperature. I don't have central air, dishwasher, nor garbage disposal. But overall, I really like my apartment. It does not have a formal dining area but the apartment is not that much smaller than the average one bedroom in Dundalk.

What I dislike about the community is the lack of curb appeal, especially in the fall and winter seasons. Once the leaves fall off the tree, they stay on the ground until one of the residents clean them up. After one particular snow storm I had to shovel my porch, steps, and walkways. I also shoveled my neighbors. I feel that this should have been the job of the maintenance team. Last summer, during an usually strong and long thunderstorm, my street flooded due to lack of proper drainage. My car was totaled as a result. And, when I had my car, parking conditions were terrible only if you arrived home after 8:00 p.m. There were many times I had to park my car on a different street or blocks away from my apartment.

However, my overall stay has not been all negative. I moved here from the inner city, where crime is bad and there is no grass in your front or back yard. So I was thrilled to see grass and trees everywhere. I like knowing that there are at least three playgrounds within walking distance that my son and I can go to. I continuously recommend Three Garden Village to anyone who needs an affordable place to stay.
