i've lived in worse. there is a definite mixed review here. i like the convenience, price and the inclusion of utilities. however the reason there is such a large difference in rent is they nickel and dime you. most apts are in disrepair. maintainence usually has to come out repeatedly for the same problem. but i honestly will defend them. i think it's the owners of the complex. they won't let it get fixed right the first time or with less than stellar materials. they also have a skeleton crew maintainence team to deal with one of the largest complexes in the area. but of course if they changed these practices, they would decide to jack up the rent. the apartments are at least 80 years old. they need to be updated. the plumbing sucks,as well same with insulation. depending on what street/ court you live on will determine your neighbors. i am blessed with good neighbors. it's convenient to shopping, schools and commuting.parking is a blast. THERE IS NONE!!! if you want your vehicle to be safe or convenient, you must rent a garage, for yup, more money. i was told baltimore county won't allow them to zone for parking lots (which knowing the county is true). so if you go in with an open mind, it's not that bad. honestly i don't mind that bad. i'm lucky. others do have it worse and you do have to babysit them to get things done. i feel that compared to other places there are perks to living here. last apartment we lived in was "nicer" but i hated it. just my opinion.
