I have stayed here for 4 years and out of all the Apartment Complexes I've lived in over the years, Chatham Village is easily the best! What I love most about it is that all the apartments are ground level - that means there is no noise coming from above and no need to tiptoe around the apartment if there is someone below. It is a very quiet community that is very professionally run. Half of the residents are seniors or retirees. There is always the occasional hottie neighbor that makes life interesting. There is also a pool and a fitness room.

PARKING - I've never had a problem even if I sometimes come home after midnight on a Saturday or Sunday night. There is always a spot.
NOISE - never had any psycho neighbors so noise wasn't a problem.
GROUNDS - They have professional gardeners that mow the lawn and plant trees and flowers. What I like is that you have a small patch of garden in front of your apartment and they provide mulch every spring.
SAFETY - well lit, the general area is safe (I made sure about this before moving in), and the presence of police cars in the parking lot (some of the tenants are policemen) is a deterrent.
CONSTRUCTION - No problems
MAINTENANCE - In my 4 years I only had 1 issue (clogged Kitchen Pipes). Reported it in the morning before I went to work and it was fixed by the time I went home that night.
STAFF - Renee is the sweetest. Ken is the sour(joke, he's a great guy). They're perfect together. They take care of all your needs (within reason of course).
OVERALL - Easily the best apartment out of all the apartments I've lived in and seen all throughout the East Coast. The only reason I'm leaving is that I'm buying a house.
