Not Worth The Price

I lived at Sherwood Crossing from 7/04 to 1/05. I moved because it was too expensive. I had problems with parking, noise, trash and mice.

Parking was horrible. Even when I got home from work at 6pm I couldn't find a close spot. I tried to get a covered assigned parking spot that I would have to pay for, but I was on a waiting list for 6 months. When it snowed the parking lots were never cleared.

My bedroom window faced I-95 and the noise from traffic was very loud at all hours. Also the planes from BWI flew very low, I think I could see people on the planes. The combined noises of I-95 and planes made it impossible for me to sleep with my windows open.

The complex had 2 dumpsters but one was often broken. Even though the remaining one had a compactor, it often broke down and the dumpster would quickly fill up. Then the trash would overflow and you couldn't even get close enough to properly dump your trash. This happened at least twice a month and the condition would last for days. There would be a mountain of trash by the dumpster and it was disgusting!!

I saw a mouse in my apartment so I bought four traps. The next morning the traps were full! I put out 4 more traps and they caught more mice. I called maintenance and they had to patch a hole in the wall of my kitchen. I talked to some of my neighbors and found out they had the same problem.

I saw police cars several times and my neighbors told me that there had been some break-ins.

There was a leak from my air conditioner and it took several calls before maintenance fixed it. Then it wasn't fixed properly and the leak came back. It was fixed the second time.

The office personnel always seemed to change. I would get a different answer to my questions based on who I asked. They often gave conflicting answers.

Even if I could afford to live there I wouldn't return. I think the quality is lower than the price.
