Let me explain why I am writing this: I am a professional, single mom and full-time student. I am not rich, but prefer somewhere clean and safe for my son (that is worth the money). I can handle a fix-it-yourself apartment. What I can't handle are pests (anything more than 4 legs and I run screaming), and general uncleanliness. Please let me know if these things have been a problem for you. Thanks!

I have been here at Sherwood Crossing since March of 2008 and I have only seen 1 roach. It was when my upstairs neighbors moved out. I am guessing they were fleeing the unit and one decided to come down and visit. I can not and absolutely refuse to live with roaches, rodents etc. So far it has not been a problem but alot of that has to do with how I keep my apartment. I would definitely contact the NON customer service staff in the rental office and have them send the pest control people. I had ants outside my patio during the summer and they sent someone the next day and I have not seen any ants since then. Be careful when dealing with the rental office cause they are WORTHLeSS EXCUSeS for humans. They have no compassion and JPI should be ASHAMED having hired these folks.

You know, it's funny, I live on ground floor and haven't had any pests, nor have I had ANY problems with maintenance. In fact, they greeted me on my first day here and promptly helped when my garbage disposal broke. Perhaps you should keep your apartment tidy and then pests won't have reason to bother you.
