I have been living here for more then 3 years.Since JPI took over the management,it is a pain to continue here.The only reason I am still here is that my child go to Deep run elementary which is adjacent to the apartment complex and my wife has found friends from Indian community.
When JPI moved in they had very rude staffs.So much that you would fear approaching them with your problems .Now the staffs are much better .Have found following problems:
1.They don't treat you as a customer but just as a source of money.Once you sign the lease,you should not disturb them.
2.Their Gym will not have water.If water is there then the plastic glass will not be there.The gym will not have the cleaning agent in plastic containers which you can conveniently use to clean the surface of gym equipment after use.They have some gel which is in a container fixed on the wall in such a corner of the room that it is inconvenient to use.People don't use them.So you take with you bacteria in your hand and clothes after using the gym.
3.A treadmeal in the gym has it heart rate sensor broken for years now.There are other equipments broken as well.If you want to use the gym please check it out
before you sign the lease.
4.We have rising incidents of theft in the apartment these days.Only 2 weeks back, a resident has his motor bike stolen in the night.It seems JPI does not check the background of people before they sign the lease.Off course there is no security system in place .
5.Few months ago they had rented out the property to a company which was keeping I believe more then 3 to 4 IT guys per apartment.There were so many of them staying in the apartment that other folks could not use the common facility like Gym,Swimming Pool ,Tennis court,Volleyball court without getting inconvenienced.Fortunately the company business went down and those guys went back to India and we don't face nuisance anymore.
I am getting out from here as soon as my child finishes this school year.

The original writer is an idiot. the "gym sucks" HELLLOO its free! and dont tell me you pay for it with your rent becuase you dont. Its a free perk. They can tear it down and out a parking lot in its place if they want and still charge you the same. Get a Ballys or Golds Gym membership. How is it managements responsibilty to keep you "germ free" while in the gym. Bring your own hand saniizer and towel. Its an apartment complex noty a spa. Oh and you think b/c thers crime means they dont do background checks? You live there dont you? Are you telling me you dont have friends, coworkers, relatives, etc that visit you and maybe JUST MAYBE you dont know them all that well. It could have been anyone who commited the crime. They most likely dont even live there.

Excuse me, but these curry smelling curries are more healthier and tastier than the fast bland dishes cooked by vain people of these days. Probably these curry smelling people, hard working that they are, dont waste much time in overporing perfumes over themselves.. Duh!Lol!! And all the "bewildered at the sad attitude" words!!!!

I don't even live or work at this apartment community yet and I am afraid to come here. Not because of the staff or the FREE gym, but because of you residents. How rude are you to tell people different from you to go home. No i do not care for the smell of curry either but that doesn't make me any better than the next person. Last i checked, this website for to rate the aprtment not the smell of food. I could be mistaken but nowhere in my lease does it say i cannot cook what i want. And what does background checking residents have to do with thefts of a motor bike. First of all I'm sure it wasn't ur bike that was stolen 2. At least it wasn't a car, it was some kids dirt bike that was probably on chained up someopen place and 3. Most people dont steal from their place of residence. They go outside there city or at least their own community or maybe only idiot residents like you would steal from your own property. Real smart. To the original author of this note and Mr/Mrs. Anonymous up top, I am glad you are looking to move out, because rude and obnoxious people like you need an house so that you don't become a burden on any one else.

Stay away from Sherwood, for the last couple of years it's been going down the tubes! You could do much better elswhere for the same amount!

Dear Herlionsden33, I am sure you are working for JPI management otherwise I would not have got these vindictive comments like Idiot and stealing my own property.This just proves my point that the JPI management sucks. Also please note that it was not a child bike,it was an adult motor bike which may cost more then 10K. By the way,we were informed only this friday that Buzzoto management has come back.I am sure now this apartment complex will become much better.

Actually, the apartments are nice, the management is very friendly and willing to help you - possibly if you show attitude to them - why would they go out of their way, we have developed a good relationship with them and they go out of their way for us. Treat others as you would have them treat you! Simply said... All the neighbors are nice and friendly no matter their ethnicity! The price for a two bed two bath was better than any other apartment complex in the area! Parking is easy, the lots hardly get full! Our apartment complex was completely renovated, from top to bottom! Very nice! Sound between apartments is pretty solid, I do not hear the people downstairs or beside me!! Maybe shutting a door, but you get that in a house! As for the gym, I bring my own sanitation products - how many people clean their equipment at golds or bally? As many that clean it here! No difference! The gym is convenient and free, no complaints - I use it everyday! I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a nice area and reasonable prices!

I lived here from 06 to 08. I moved into a house for rent, it was great but it sold. Now I am moving back in 09. They welcomed me back with open arms. I never had any problems when I was here before, I do not expect to have any now. I agree with treating others as you would like to be treated. I did not have problems with tenants or staff. I was glad that I could get back in without any problems. I left in good standing and was welcomed back. It made me feel better coming from a spacious house back to apartments is not the greatest feeling. Thanks Sherwood, keep up the good work, cannot please all the people all the time. Glad to be back.
