Windsor at Pine Ridge

I would not do it again! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/22/2003 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   Upon first arrival everything seems grand until you actually see an apartment. The living/dining room combo is way to small, too small to even serve as one of those functions. It may work if it is just one or two people. Currently living in a 2br/2bath with a den and 3 other people (2 couples). Not a good idea. We have experience numerous problems. Our washer has flooded 3 times in the last 9 months. The maintenance crew replaced it finally with a washer/dryer combo that is worse. The washer is fine but the dryer, if you want your close dry, expect it to take 24 hours. The drywall is beginning to chip in our bathroom. The toilet has overflowed. Snow removal, don't count on it. After the 2 feet of snow it took them 2 weeks to fully clean. Walking to one's car was a nightmare. The crew would just clean the walkways and salt the steps. One really had to watch and be careful. Noise is horrible. I am wondering if they even used any insulation when constructing this place. It is rear that one will get a good night's sleep. Dogs continuously bark. Kids are noisy and hang out in the corridors. Some even skateboard down the steps in the corridor. People leave their personal property in the hallway. Parking... if you want it in front of your apartment you need to be home around 3pm. Any later than 6pm and you don't have a chance. Heating and Cooling... Renters are in charge of paying the electric bill yet the staff turns off your air conditioning and won't turn it back on until there is a day that is 85 degrees. The apartments get heavily stuffy and need air. Good things... There are not many. The pool is nice but is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Landscaping is maintained well. Overall I would say turn away and find something else.
