Windsor at Pine Ridge

I've lived in several other apartments, none as wonderful as this one. Before signing my lease I was concerned about price, being young, single, and in a brand new job. The property mngmt worked with me and gave me an unbeatable deal on a 3rd floor apt with a fireplace. The apt is not huge but it is perfect for me. I've never once had a problem with parking. Whether I get home at 3pm or 10pm there are always at least a dozen or so spots in the lot right in front of our building. Most of the neighbors are very friendly and people keep their dogs leashed and under control. The pool and fitness center are huge bonuses (the fitness center is basic but I have no need for a gym membership now!). During snow storms my job gives me an extra two hours to get to work and I have never needed them. The parking lots and sidewalks are cleaned by the time I leave at 7am. Some of these reviews complain about strange smells and problems with appliances breaking. Maintenance is not responsible for cleaning your disposals, etc and washers will overflow if you wash too many clothes at once. Every time I've needed maintenance (once just to check my apartment to make sure I hadn't left a candle burning!) they have been wonderful and speedy, cleaned up after themselves, and have even been friendly to my cats. They also always leave a note telling you when they were there, what the problem was, and what they did to fix it. The property manager even offered to have maintenance replace the kitchen floor in my unit because I told her I liked the one in the model better! Bottom line, if you choose to live in an apartment and want a clean, beautiful, well maintained, friendly community that allows pets and will give you neighbors of all ages and backgrounds choose Windsor at Pine Ridge. If you are worried about being cramped, or not having a balcony, or being in close quarters with neighbors you may not get along with, buy a house - that way you can control these things. As for me, I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.
