Just renewed my lease

I got a notice from the office that my lease would expire in November. So I did decide to shop around to see what my options were. There are some nice complexes around the Elkton and Newark area. Some that weren't so nice. But when I weighed all my options and what the Management was offering me to stay another year, I decided to resign with them. Some complexes that I visited, the office staff were not helpful at all. I have been here for 4 years now, and have seen management come and go, with empty promises. The staff they have now, from the maintenance to the leasing agent, to the Manager, are great. Things get fixed the same day, if I need someone to talk to, they always lend an ear. I read reviews from other complexes also. It does really seem that the negitive ones on all the complex reviews were from ppl, who just aren't happy where ever they are. Your complexes are only as good as your tenants.

The above response was obviously posted by the management staff. This is a prime example of how the management of Meadows at Elk Creek will lie to put money in their pockets. I currently reside at Meadows at Elk Creek and I find the above statement completely incorrect.

You must think that there aren't happy residents that live here. Sorry to here that. I wrote this review, and NO, I am not management. I work as a nurse. I work at a hospital, and here everyday, how this hospital is horrible, or how that hospital didn't do that for my mother.
Its just miserable people who live miserable lives, who just want ever one else to be miserable

I dont know about things getting fixed the same day. Our bathroom floor is sinking in and has been for 4 months. Today marks the 4th time they were supposed to come fix it but didn't. Their response is always "we had a pipe burst under another building and we didnt have your phone number to call and tell you." Come on now. We always pay rent early and this is the first thing we've ever asked of the staff, see how far that got us.
