I have lived at West Creek for almost 2 years now, and as far as the apartment itself is concerned, it's pretty good. You get a lot for your money, compared to other places in the area. Maintenance has always come either the same day or the day after I tell them about any issues. The walls are very thin though, so you can hear your neighbors (both to the sides and above) coughing loudly -among other things. But then there's the "ghetto"... The townhouse community that you must drive through to get to West Creek is very scary. (no one was outside the day I decided to live here, apparently). The residents roam the streets at all hours, many of them are openly drinking liquor and doing god-knows-what. While my husband walks our dog (in the assigned area near the ghetto), he has been physically threatened and called many racial slurs. Once, a ghetto residents displayed his gun threateningly as my husband drove home from work. I have woken up to gunshots many times, and the parking lots are very dimly lit. I was physically accosted while getting my mail one night, and another lady who lives several doors down from me was also accosted while leaving the leasing office. There are plenty of police officers who live in the complex, whose cars are parked quite visibly, yet these problems persist. West Creek is building a different entrance to the complex, so that you don't have to drive through the ghetto, but I'm not sure how they plan on securing the current entrance from the ghetto, considering how flimsy the "fence" is (the fence that ghetto children frequently destroy, which doesn't have a gate). I don't know when this will be complete, but I have become very scared to live at West Creek, and will move away as soon as possible. I do NOT recommend you live here.

DONT BE FOOLED BY THE MANAGERS PROMISE OF A NEW ROAD. DONT BE FOOLED, (SERVICE) IS THAT OF A SLUM-LORD,THE MAINT-MAN IS A NASTY/RUDE/ WISE GUY AND DO NOT LEAVE ANY NOTICE THAT YOUR HOME HAS BEEN ENTERED IF YOUR NOT THERE ,THE MANAGEMENT ACTS CONCERNED HOWEVER, ONLY WITH COLLECTING RENT , YOU HAVE TO DRIVE THROUGH CRIMINALS TO GET INTO THE COMPLEX, RENT RAISED $45 EVERY YEAR
PLEASE RENT ELSEWHERE AND GET MORE PRIVACY/ SERVICE / RESPECT FOR YOUR MONEY
