You won't get any fancy amenities at Chatham Gardens but you will get a solid apartment with some more-than-decent maintenance. I lived here for about 18 months and never had any worries about safety in the neighborhood. My fiancee and I took many walks in the neighborhood behind the apartments and to the Giant supermarket just across the road. The staff is great and the maintenance response is exemplary. Verizon FIOS is also available there, which is a big plus. One complaint -- the heat pumps and blowers in the apartments are incredibly loud in the master bedroom; so loud that it's hard to sleep. The apartments would benefit greatly from installation of gas heat and separate air conditioning.

Never saw any insects or rodents during my time there. Never saw any rat/mouse baits either. Very clean facility, including the trash dumpster areas.
