This lovely community was recommended by a friend, and I was thrilled at first. After a rough start with leaky pipes amd no AC things seemed to work out until I had an electrical fire. After a series of problems, repairs were finally made but when I complained about the way everything was handled the office staff beecame rude and unprofessional. BTW the "rebuild" will involve higher utility bills--individual water heaters and no gas appliances. Then everyone's rent will go up a minimum of 200-300 dollars. No one has been officially notified--unless you confront the office staff. Vandalism and theft is not tracked, wiring is old. I don't feel safe or even welcome here at all. Huge dissapointment.

I don't understand why this person is saying such things. I also live in that building and recall the incident. It was not a fire. I have never heard of the staff being unprofessional. They have always been nothing but professional. Some people are just very bitter when things don't go their way. I also think that the renovations are great and much needed. I will be going into a new apartment when they are done.

Sounds like you were a lucky one - all my dealings with the office staff have left me more than displeased. Their general lack of professionalism and willingness to actually do their jobs pisses me off since I have to write a check to them every month. I am weary at best about the new apts..
