I move to Ellicott grove (new name)last year, the place is great, but the management attitude is not quiet what I expected. One of the my new neighbours smokes and the smoke gets into all the apartments in my building it is terrible. The New neighbours have the right to smoke in their own apartments since this is not a non-smoking rental, but if one does not want to have an apartment that smells like a bar full of smokers I would not recommend moving here. The apartments look great, but they are not very well insulated. The bedrooms are especially hard to keep warm, even with central heating it is very hard to get the bedrooms as warm as the rest of the apartment,the main door to get into the apartment lets a lot of air in and out which is part problem with keeping warm as well as keeping smoke from neighbouring units out. The response I got from the management showed they cared more for money than addressing the problem, has helped me decide to start looking for a house to buy instead of remaining here and continue getting second hand smoke.

I totaly agree. Part of the reason we moved was that the management was terrible! They always seemed to have an attitude and took it personally when questioned the accommmodations i.e noise, heat ect. If your searching...keep looking. This is not the place for you if you value peace and quiet and good customer service.
