Way too noisy

I just moved to this area from Florida. When I was looking for apartments to rent, the Elms at Montjoy were by far the nicest. Little did I know that the construction here is very cheap and there is no sound insulation. I can hear everything from the residents upstairs and also have problems with noise from the residents who live below me. I have contacted the management staff twice about this and they are very slow in responding to the problem and just don't seem to care. If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is definetly not the place to live.

We experienced similar noise issues above and below our unit as well. Really cheap construction.

"Ditto" I live on a top floor apartment @ The Elms & I can hear my next door neighbor (Bigfoot) stomp all the time. Definitely not the best sound insulation! The Apartments are o.k. but pricey. & if you do move here try to avoid getting an apartment near Rt. 100. The noise will keep you up @ night.
