The new name does not cover up same old problems. Lately there is alot of police activity. Unsavory folks have moved in. Leasing/Business Office is not efficient, neighbors think they are in private homes with the noise, a lot of abandoned cars in lots taking up valuable parking, buildings are close to falling apart even with renovations (place was originally built in the early 70's). They are building a new club house with pool which I am sure they will charge a fee for use but that won't stop it from being torn up. You want to talk about moths to a flame, that place is going to draw out the real noise makers in the community. In all, the new Howard Crossing does not invoke Howard County living. Not at all, you need to head to Columbia for that or try Chatham Apartments down Route 40. Tucked away and very hard to get an apartment there. Best kept secret in Howard County.
