If you are unfamiliar with the Baltimore area, Howard Crossing would be a great starting point-- it's close to every highway and it's safe (which is more than I can say for some of the complexes in Owings Mills and Columbia!)

Perks
-Great floorplan for the price
-Free gym with cardio and weights
-Clubhouse has a business center and big screen tv
-Quiet, relatively safe neighborhood
-Great location-- highways and restaurants
-All apartments are renovated (new appliances, carpet, paint job, etc.)


But like any apartment complex, it has its faults.
-we hear our neighbors occasionally, but it's nothing out of the ordinary from any other complex (and the floors are solid, can't hear the people upstairs at all!).

The level of safety is above other complexes in the community, but has its limitations as well. I'd compare it to a typical neighborhood-- the occasional domestic dispute, the roving gangs of tennagers, etc. Nothing too frightening. They just added new streetlamps, so it's well lit at night (I work nights sometimes and have no fear walking from my car).

When you sign your lease, select an apartment towards the back of the complex. These look out on the woods and are peaceful-- you'll forget you're even in a huge complex! AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
